  1. Thanks for the info. They'll give us a run for our money. Hoping for a good outcome: honesty, competence, understanding of the needs of people and the town as a whole, good people skills and clear communication, and decisions made justly and without fear or favour. That'll do for a start.

  2. Not a good line up for the misogynists of York. 5 women, 3 men and Trevor Randell!
Thanks for the link to Trevor's ulter-ego site, Trev was certainly in the sky with diamonds when performing his boy band stuff.

    1. The misogynists had their chance and they let everyone down, including those Gentlemen in York who respect Women.

  3. Pat Hoopers name is not there probably knows he dosnt stand a chance now that the Master Election Rigger Ray is gone, Poor Trevor Randell probably not aware of Rays magic powers because of his loose lips on Facebook and other things around town standing for council, reminds me of those singers on X factor, when the Judges say who are your friends that are saying your great?

    1. Is it normal for a 50 year old bloke to mime and lip sink to his favorite pop songs, no harm in it I suppose, but when broadcast on social media for the world to see, then I question the mentality of the candidate.

    2. I question it too KLP which is why I am not voting for him.

  4. Trevor - do you have a memory problem?
I question why Trevor bothered nominating considering his rants on face book with Pat Hooper about running people out of Town. To say nothing of the more recent comments he made about Jane.

You may not have noticed Trevor, York overwhelmingly elected Matthew Reid because York had had enough of the gutter tactics used by the elected members we had for ten years (including you).

You had your chance to represent the people fairly and you failed.

  5. I opoposed SITA, but i'm going to now look at this Avon Waste proposal at Ashworth Road where they are doing a job on the residents and farmers. Avon waste's moving their waste business there (closer to Sita) and right at York's doorstep and the golf club, it apparently was put up at tonight's meeting but we didn't know I just got a call from someone there that just saw it - whats going on again do we have another Sita on our hands where the deals are done and we the residents get to know when its all over and done??? From what I was told it was put up as a Transport Depot, HA HA Avon Waste is no longer a waste transfer depot there gone into transport only - its just a transport depot (so whose going to empty my bin tomorrow?), ahhh but Im told done that way the council can approve it on agricultural land instead of putting it in an industrial area - and I thought SITA was a problem - this ones on our doorstep.

I thought this stuff was going to stop??? Any comments from the good people here? I rang a few people and no one even knew it was happening.

  6. The Avon Waste item was a late agenda item - yep the Administration are at it again sneaking things in so residents don't find out until it is too late. Is it any wonder residents get pissed off with certain staff.

Why put a Transport Depot out on a farm when we already have a gazetted Industrial area?
Who is paying who to pull this one off.
