DIRTY DEEDS DONE DIRT CHEAP....

Our Deputy CEO, Tyhscha Cochrane may feel everyone is trying to dump the dirt on her, and it's time for a change, a rather large heap of retaliation.

She decided to dump some real dirt of her own on someone else's real driveway. Not nice and not neighbourly.
On a night dark and stormy, when lavatory lights were dim, (that’s last night) she and husband Steve filled their neighbours driveway  with some of their leftover clods.
Steve, using his bobcat who we’ll nickname “Ted” turned a driveway into a culvert with a large mound.
Maybe artistic, but certainly not aesthetically pleasing and definitely turning  their neighbours car into a useless object.

Obviously such a bobcat inspired, invasive transgression caused a bit of a dust up and the local neighbourly tiff adjudicators, the Cops, were called in.

After some R Rated “potty mouth” exchanges, Steve was told to keep his sods to himself.

“Ted” was last seen with bucket held high, filled with Cochrane earth being returned to where it belonged, slightly soiled but happy to be home.

Steve does a bit of fencing on the side (STEVE COCHRANE FENCING), as well as occasionally looking after other peoples sheep, but now wants to branch out with "Ted" into the landscaping game.

Last year, Steve and "Ted" had a go at Kerbing (pictured below), but due to adverse reaction, decided it wasn't for them.
Concrete kerbing at 15 Bayly Rd, York

  1. Tyhscha and her husband Steve are upset that the rains washed dirt and water from their opposite neighbours property into theirs. Their house is positioned a lot lower. The previous owners had no issue because they had a small dam out the front and welcomed the extra water. The Cochrane’s however, decided to fill it in, which created a water problem for them. Not only did they fill it in with dirt but also old tyres and other undesirables. That’s ok though if you’re the DCEO.

Not for the first time, the Cochrane’s have ventured out in the middle of the night and dumped a heap of dirt in the neighbour’s driveway. The weird thing is the Shire was there earlier that day cleaning the mess on the roads after the storm, just like they did on many York Streets over the last week. By all accounts the boys from the depot did a good job. So all was well until these lunatics decided they would take it a bit further. The neighbours were unable to get to work on time the following morning and as such have lost a day’s pay.

The second picture is of the Cochrane’s own verge. They had the Shire Depot drop off a load of concrete a few years back and dump it in no particular pattern on their verge. What remains is verge long set of pinnacles now half covered with soil and an extremely dangerous jagged edge. If you or I placed a verge long hazard like this out front of our place we’d be told to remove it quick smart. The DCEO however can do what she likes.

This sort of lunatic and bullying behaviour is just the sort of thing the Cochranes, Chadwicks and cohorts are known for. The CEO was told this morning but as it is on private property failed to act. Let’s wait to see what the police have to say about it. I fear for the safety of Tyhscha and Steve’s neighbours as they are clearly a bit deranged.

    1. This behaviour is just criminal.
Some people can do anything they want with no consequences while others like Burt Merridith get hammered over a fence by the likes of Tester.

    2. Tom your comment is thought provoking.
It would appear that you are correct that Mrs Cochrane is living a charmed life free of consequence.
She spends eight years at the helm whilst the "Rape of York" was enacted.
Then spends the best part of two years on stress leave then maternity leave then stress leave then maternity leave, with full perks.
Now that sounds like some form of immunity deal has been struck and our little lady is a protected witness, its the only thing that makes sense.

So lets hope the new CEO can unfreeze the wheels of justice and have this disaster brought to a head.

Enough of the smoke and mirrors, get it out in the open, we have all seen how corrupt Pat Hooper has proven himself to be, I think you will find that we have just glimpsed the tip of the iceberg and there are some pretty important bottoms in hot water at the present moment.

Time to bring it all to the boil.

  2. "Occasionally looking after other peoples sheep", with or without them knowing.....?

  3. What surprises me most is that poor old Steve had to use Ted in the first place.
In days gone by Tyhscha would have had a word to the Works Manager while they were out the back having a durry. Hey presto a load of gravel would have appeared in a flash.
I guess that's how the new concrete kerbing got there.

Love the picture of Ted, but where is the govy car, must have been out shopping.

    1. Is that 'Y 00' parked up? Maybe she's had an upgrade while she was spawning.

    2. She did get an upgrade, its pearly white and parked in the carport when she is not out shopping, visiting people or touring the state while on leave.

    3. What a horrible un-neighborly thing to do. Tempers must run in the family!

Did the precious new shed get flooded?

Serves Cochrane right for buying a house on the low side of the road!

I'm surprised Tyhscha hasn't had a cross over, curbing and drains fitted at ratepayers expense.

Tyhscha throwing her weight around again!

  4. Wow how about that new shed.
Shame the old one burnt to the ground.
Neighbours say there was an explosion in the night.
Like the sound a meth lab makes when it blows up perhaps.

  5. The concrete in question was delivered by the local concrete company at no cost to Tyhscha or Steve.

  6. The Road verge is owned by the Shire of York, which means a local business dumped their waste product on Shire land!

How come the company was not issued with a summons from the Shire of York, or did Tyhscha 'organise' Shire approval to create a safety hazard on the verge?

Did Tyhscha declare this as a gift?

The Shire were quick to harass the Saints for all manner of things, including charging them for extra bins because Saints moved several bins from other businesses to one collection point outside Saint's Diner to help Avon Waste.

  7. Isn't the local concrete supplier called HOLCIM, they belong to a big multinational mob. No way would they dump waste on Shire property without a written request, they have environmental policies preventing dumping of waste.
All the concrete plants have a wash down bay and sludge pit to deal with excess.

Some serious questions need to be answered, Holcim will not appreciate the negative publicity nor the clean up bill.

Mr President you obviously read the blog, hence the apology for the Hooper's disgraceful behaviour.
Any chance you could put this little debacle to bed with some straight shooten
like you did with the Minority Report.

While we're on straight answers, how long will the credit card business take to sort out, surely its only 8 years of credit card documents to sift through.
Only 40% is likely to be dodgy based on the Auditor General's latest findings.

  8. Naughty naughty Tyhscha, you have slipped back into those double standards again.

We know you find it very difficult to remember and accept Ray has gone.....now ALL residents and ratepayers are to be treated equally and fairly.

  9. She never moved away from double standards. It must never be forgotten she employed a convicted criminal, all employees of the Shire look after the public interests, not beat them up.

  10. Would the blog master please contact David Taylor, we need his forensic expertise.
To assist the new A/CEO review his DCEO's performance it would be helpful to put together a concise summary of the activities of the DCEO that contravene Local Government Standards and Laws.
Facts such as the falsification of records that are included in this extensive blog need to be highlighted now while the A/CEO has a mandate for change.

The administration have shown wonderful resourcefulness in deflecting the CCC and stalling the Fraud Squad.

    Time is of the essence.

    1. What a brilliant idea - can David Taylor list the summary of those activities on the blog?

David Taylor for York 'Blog' Citizen of the Year!

  11. Did the company know the concrete was supplied and delivered at no cost?

Was the blue metal for the extensive parking area (see photo) also supplied and delivered free?

Was the same deal done for the extensive brick paved driveways Brian and Tony acquired when the brick paving in the CBD was done?

  12. Blocking someones access to their property surely is a criminal offence - how come Tyhscha's husband Steve can get away with this?

Please don't tell me the Police are protecting the Cochranes.

Who would have been held responsible if Emergency Service vehicles needed to access this residents property?

  13. Update- the police were contacted and said they would come around later that day and speak to both parties.

Seems the job was dispatched from Midland to Northam because York was closed on the Tuesday morning.

    Either one would do right?

Last Tuesday morning they were contacted.

Even as I post this the police still have not visited.

So its no wonder people like Cochrane do this sort of thing.

Surely the police will at least contact the complainant? This sort of behaviour can quickly escalate and as mentioned in earlier comments its not the first time.

  14. Sad to be so negative but isn't it strange that the Police are so willing to drop everything and turn up at the council meetings armed to the teeth when someone in the Shire thinks it will be a good idea to intimidate the plebs asking for truth and justice.

If you remember the Police came the day we forced Ray to resign, April 2014.
Then they were there again the day we tried to stop James Best fleecing the community and bailing out is mate who owned the crumbling Chalkies.

Is this a democracy or is this a police state.
Who called the police on those occasions, and what accusations were made to justify the police presence.

    1. yeah it looks a bit suspicious.
I thought we are supposed to rely on the Police to sort these types of things out - it is no wonder people take matters into their owns hands.

  15. The evidence is on the blog, steve cannot deny what he did.

Pretty poor the York Police have not bothered to investigate this serious incident and charge Steve - are the Cochranes being protected because SHE is the DCEO?

While the Police are there, they should check out the new shed with a sniffer dog!

Suppose York Police were a busy with the serious accident on the York/Lakes Road.
Heard the crane sent to get the truck upright toppled and a second crane was required.
The accident happened near Berry Brow Rd, just two bends on the Perth side of Allawana.
